The Blue Grass Airgun Range is located at the trailhead of the Eagle Scout Trails at the back of BGSL property. Please follow the signs to our piece of paradise.
Upon arrival you will see our beautiful stone fence and covered shooting shelter with concrete floor and shooting benches. The shooting range consists of a 75 yard x 75 yard flat area with backstop berm at 80 yards.
We often put our 10-meter rifle, pistol, and knockdown (Field Target) targets on this area. We also have several stands that accept paintballs and spinners for more reactive targets. Directly to the right of the covered shooting area are our Field Target practice lanes. Four lanes contain over ten stands for mounting knockdown targets set at seven- to fourty-five yards. Placed on the ground and in trees, these stands closely resemble a Field Target Match range.
Located on the first driveway bend, at the break in the stone fence, is the enterance to the Eagle Scout trails. This is also the entrance to our Field Target Course.
Thirty lanes start on the center path and radiate east and west. Each of these lanes have up to six target bases where we place the field targets for our shoots.
