Completing the BGSL Pit Pass Qualifier allows a BGSL member to shoot in the pistol pits after signing in at the General Purpose range. All pistol pit rules are in force.
The qualifier is administered on a regular basis by the BGSL Rangemaster. The qualifier includes an orientation to the pistol pits and a review of the pistol pit rules. Members will be asked to demonstrate their ability to safely manipulate their firearm from a holster, basic marksmanship skill, reloading and other safe gun handling.
The Pit Pass Qualifier costs $15.00 for members obtaining a pass for the first time.
Please bring the following items to shoot the BGSL qualifier.
- BGSL membership card.
- Eye and ear protection
- 100 Rounds of ammunition
- A strong side belt holster. No crossdraw, appendix carry or shoulder holsters please
- At least one mag pouch
- Magazines for your pistol.
