- Range Rules for GP, Advanced Rifle and Pistol Pits
- The phone number at GP is 859-858-0134. RSO’s are not always able to answer this number. You can also call the main office at 859-858-4060 for information on GP Range.
- All members must qualify to use the Advanced Rifle Range (300 Yard Range). See Advanced Rifle Qualification. Inquire at GP Range or the main office for more information on getting this qualification.
- All shooters must sign-in at the GP Range prior to using the Advanced Rifle Range, and return to sign-out at the GP Range.
- The GP Handgun Range, GP 50 Yard Range, and GP 100 Yard Range, do not require qualification.
- For clarification of above, GP is divided into sections:
- “GP Handgun” refers to the newly remodeled area on the left (West) side of the General Purpose Range. This area is fully baffled (steel roof & downrange baffles) and is for handguns only.
- “GP 50” is the 50 yard portion of the GP range. It is immediately to the right (East) of the GP Handgun range.This area is fully baffled and is for handguns and rimfire rifles.
- “GP 100” is the 100 yard portion of the GP range, farthest to the right (East). This area is fully baffled and is for handguns, rimfire rifles and centerfire rifles.
- A Pit Pass required to use the Pistol Pits. All shooters must sign-in at the GP Range prior to using the Pistol Pits, and return to sign-out at the GP Range. The current qualification procedure is: 2020 Pit Pass Qualifier. Inquire at GP Range for more information on getting this qualification.
