Hunting Requirements
In order to hunt at BGSL, you must complete the following PRIOR to going afield.
1 Be a member in good standing.
2 show completion of a state-sponsored hunter education course
3 attend/complete a BGSL Hunter orientation class. (see schedule below)
4 appropriately qualify if applicable.
5 pay the appropriate fee(s)
6 sign a hunting wavier
Hunting Fees
Either Sex Deer ( Buck or Doe ) $250 + $50 for small game , + tax = $318
Antlerless (Doe) $50 + $50 for small game, + tax = $106
Small Game, + tax = $53
SCHEDULED BGSL HUNTER ORIENTATION COURSE
Participants must attend and complete a BGSL hunter orientation course (led by the BGSL Operations Manager or designated substitute) prior to going afield. This course must be attended/renewed yearly.
For the 2018-2019 seasons:
- Saturday, August 25th @ 0900
- Wednesday, August 29 @ 7:00pm
- Saturday, September 29 @ 0900
- Wednesday, October 3 @ 7:00 pm
- Saturday, October 13 @ 0900
- Saturday, November 3 (may include dinner for all hunters) Time TBA
